You see, the standard doesn’t require one. But the reality is, if you want to pass your ISO 9001:2015 certification, and if you want to manage all your quality requirements, then having a manual is the easiest, and in my view, the best way to go about it.

Not only that but clients (big clients) will often ask to see your quality manual as part of your tender application. If they ask to see it – and you don’t have one – you’ll look pretty strange saying you don’t need one.
